Caroline Murray

Caroline Murray is our Oxford based STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer and our newest recruit. Caroline recently completed her Instructor Training course in Canada and therefore is up to date with the latest techniques and modifications.
Caroline comes from an athletic background with 15 years experience in personal training and fitness class instruction including aerobics, circuits, step and body conditioning. In 2003 she trained and qualified in Sports Massage Therapy and has been able to incorporate this therapy knowledge into her pilates teaching.
Caroline completed all of her training as a STOTT PILATES instructor at the Oxford Studio through Active Training and has been teaching mat and reformer classes since the outset. Whilst teaching the STOTT PILATES courses and workshops she still enjoys teaching her public clients.
Amanda Kitchen

Working freelance, for Active Training, Amanda is certified to train students in Intensive Mat-Plus, Reformer and Cadillac, Chair & Barrel up to an including their examination to become a certified STOTT PILATES instructor.
Coming from a fitness instructor background, Amanda combines her teaching of STOTT PILATES with a successful personal training and sports massage business. She trains both one-to-one clients and group sessions either from her own studio in Kew (West London) or from the clients own home.
Michael Christensen

Michael is co-owner and CEO of the STOTT PILATES licenced training facility in Denmark and travels regularly to the UK to teach within the Oxford and London studios and to present for STOTT PILATES at instructor shows such as Fit Pro Convention. As a professional ballet and modern dancer in the early 1990's, Michael has been using pilates as a part of his training regime for many years. He is also a qualified PE teacher but he now concentrates on passing on his wide knowledge of pilates to instructors internationally.
Chrissy Connelly

Chrissy Connelly is our latest addition to the STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer Team at Active Training having completed her training in Canada in 2007.
Formerly a member of the British Olympic Windsurfing Team with 3 World titles and many national titles under her belt Chrissy enjoys working with many clients from rehab to international sports people. A qualified personal trainer and sports masseur Chrissy works with clients to re-balance posture, facilitate injury prevention and rehabilitation as well as improve general strength, flexibility and fitness.
Chrissy is based in Hampshire and works alongside physiotherapists and sports masseurs with a well equipped STOTT PILATES studio and teaches group classes as well as 1 to 1 personal sessions.
The most enlightening time for me was discovering how much STOTT PILATES can help everyone to achieve their goals no matter how small or great they are. I really enjoy helping clients and students grow using the method which instils greater self confidence and motivation for many as well as health benefits.
Alison Salmond

Alison Salmond has worked within the fitness industry for 20 years. During this time she has worked in health clubs as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Whilst doing this Alison also found time to go back to her studies to achieve both her Certificate in Education (PCET) and a Masters Degree in Exercise Science.
Alison works as the Curriculum Coordinator within YMCAfit developing and delivering a range of instructor courses and also working as an assessor. Alison regularly presents STOTT PILATES workshops at YMCAfit weekenders and even fits in some personal training.
She loves outdoor exercise and in 2005 completed her first (and last!) London Marathon. You can often find her on Hampstead Heath running with her Springer Spaniels at 7am! Alison completed all her STOTT PILATES training within the U.K., finally completing her Instructor Trainer course in Toronto last year.
Daniela Gonzales Ares

Danni is Irelands only resident STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer. Born in the Netherlands to Spanish parents she is a true European speaking many languages.As well as being one of our freelance STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainers, Daniela is also co-owner of FITNESS 4 U Personal Training and Pilates Centre in Dublin, where she combines her sports knowledge as a competitive swimmer, gymnast and horse rider with her numerous fitness qualifications gained over the past 10 years.
